Propellers

Low Noise, High Thrust Props

Introduction

These propellers are designed and manufactured in former USSR territory by professional aerdynamic engineers. The blades are made of carbon fiber mixed with glass composite and achieve very high strength and low moment of inertia and are designed to be very quiet. Each blade has a high gloss finish and leading edge protection. These can be used on any Rotax style gearbox or with Hirth, HKS and Suzuki conversions

Aero Prop

This propeller is offered on our trikes and after extensive testing we have found it to be better than all other props we have tried. The prop was tested on 912, Suzuki 4-cylinder conversion, Suzuki 3-cylinder conversion, Rotax 582 and Rotax 503 engines by us personally. We welcome you to prove us wrong. The anti-vortex tips help reduce noise and give it its cool look. Black or black with white tips (on some models) and rivetted solid stainless steel leading edge protection (not tape). Works wonderfully on float planes and trikes as well. Those dings won't be so easy to come by on the leading edges any more.

You will not be dissappointed with this propeller. The propeller has also models available without the anti-vortex quiet tip. Please note that delivery times may be approximately one month from the receipt of payment. When you are ready for a "serious prop" at reasonable price point, that can take the performance of your plane a notch higher without changing the engine and is better for your relationship with your neighbors, give Aero prop a try.

Customer's Impression after using the Aero prop:

Jaime Alexandre
More than 1,100 hours flying C-GJIV with Geo engines

Date: May 07, 2005

I have been working a lot of hours for the past four months and today I took time off and installed the 69" diameter beautiful black sexy 3 blade Kool/Aero prop, set it about 15 degrees at 11.25" from the winglet tip, fired up the engine, checked for tracking, taxied out to do a high speed run and check the static setting on the runway. I found my nose wheel rotating off the grass at about the same distance that the 72" 3 bladed IVO would normally rotate even though my static reading was reading lower than the IVO. I went for it. I flew over 2 hours. I am very impressed with the performance. It climbs better, it cruises faster, it is much-much quieter and smoother.

...

I have over 1300 hours flying on IVO's. In 2004, I found (through experimentation) that my airplane was capable of cruising over 110 mph but not so with the IVO's regardless of how the pitch was set. After installing the new Aero prop I realised that it was not a dream, the same airframe and power plant could easily fly over 115 mph at almost the same engine settings that the IVO cruised at 107 mph.

IVO 22" of manifold pressure = 90mph
Aero prop 20" of manifold pressure = 93mph

IVO 27" of manifold pressure = 107 mph
Aero prop 23.7" of manifold pressure =108 mph
Aero prop 26.2" of manifold pressure = 116 mph
